• Mt. Myogi; breathtaking landscapes and fantastically shaped rocks that sculpt dramatic forms of natural beauty.
• Nakanotake Shrine; rustic mountain shrine in a forest setting, known for its 20 meter golden statue of the God of Wealth.
• Myogi Shrine; long-standing shrine with Edo architecture surrounded by momiji (red autumn leaves).
• Autumn leaves; beautiful momiji and some late season Koyo can be found at the foot of Mt. Myogi and Takatsudo gorge.
• Takatsudo Gorge; a rocky canyon known for its azalea blooms, striking fall foliage and nice riverside walkway.
• Christmas Flower Fantasy; voted No. 1 illumination in Japan with more than 3.5 million lights illuminate the 94,000m² area of the park. Explore and marvel this magical lights spectacle which is mind-blowing. You must see to believe!

ITINERARY

• Meet the group in Shinjuku at 7am（FREE BUS provided by collaboration）

• Get on the bus
• Short stop for breakfast on the way
• Arrive at Nakanodake parking area around 10:15am
• Walk around (or hike up at your own risks) and see some fantastically shaped rocks and spectacular landscapes
• Get on the bus at 11:45am
• Arrive at Myogi shrine around 12pm
• Walk around and explore Myogi shrine surrounded by momiji (red autumn leaves)
• Picnic lunch at Mt. Myogi panorama park
• Get on the bus at 1:30pm
• Arrive at Takatsudo gorge around 2:45pm
• Walk along the nice riverside scenic trail
• Get on the bus at 3:30pm
• Arrive at Ashikaga Flower Park around 4:30pm
• Explore and enjoy the Flower Christmas Fantasy and the biggest illumination in Japan
• Get on the bus at 6:30pm
• Short rest stop on the way (if there’s traffic)
• Arrive back in Shinjuku around 8:30pm

• Itinerary may vary due to the weather, traffic conditions and other unavoidable circumstances.
• This event is ON rain or shine. In case of bad weather, we will cut the time of the outdoor activities short and visit a winery and onsen in the area, instead.
• Short hike around Mt. Myogi is optional and at your own risks.
• The Christmas Flower Fantasy is voted as No. 1 illumination in Japan. With more than 3.5 million lights illuminate the 94,000m² area of the park, this is arguably the best and the biggest in the country.
• Final details will be sent to the participants by email two days before the event.

If we are unable to increase the number of participants, we will refund the participation fee. In that case, we will do it without charge.
