What Makes Our Party Special?
1. The Wristband System
No more "awkward" introductions! We use a color-coded wristband system to help you identify language preferences and interests. It makes it incredibly easy to find people to practice English or Japanese with.
Choose a wristband color that reflects your purpose for attending the party:
Example)
🟧 Orange: For Fun Time
🟩 Green: Language Exchange (make new friends from different cultures)
🟥 Pink: Singles (meet other singles)
🟨 Yellow: Chat with the Same Gender
🟦 Blue: Others (specify your purpose)
2. Self-Serve All-You-Can-Drink
Experience a unique self-serve system where you can pour your own drinks directly from the servers! This interactive setup means no waiting at the bar and more time for talking. Enjoy a wide variety of drinks at your own pace.

A Message from Welcome Tokyo: Why We Use the Wristband System
Have you ever joined a large party with 100 or 200 people and felt lost? Even when there are hundreds of people, it’s often hard to know who to talk to or if they share the same goals as you. You might spend a long time talking to someone, only to realize later that you were looking for different things—whether it's language practice, a serious friendship, or just local travel tips.
20 years ago, the founders of Welcome Tokyo experienced this exact frustration. We realized that having "many people" doesn't automatically mean "meaningful connections." We wanted to increase the probability of you meeting the right people.
That is why we developed our signature Color-Coded Wristband System. By choosing a color based on your specific purpose for the night, you can identify the right people to talk to at a glance. This system eliminates the guesswork and helps you focus your energy on those who share your interests.
We have been refining this idea for two decades. Today, it is one of our most popular features, attracting 100 to 200 participants every week who are looking for efficient, high-quality networking. We want to ensure that your time with us leads to long-lasting friendships and a happier life in Japan.
