Many large-scale parties with over 100 guests happen every weekend in Tokyo. While they offer many chances to meet people, we often see a wide age gap—from 18 to much older generations—which can sometimes make it hard to find common ground.

The founders of Welcome Tokyo felt exactly the same way when we started 20 years ago. We wanted a place where the younger generation could gather and talk about anything with people of their own age. Whether you just moved to Tokyo, started your career here, or are a student finding it hard to make true friends with a global mindset, we were once in your shoes. We wanted to create a community for those who feel that "I want friends in Tokyo who share my perspective!"

That is why we created our unique "Shuffle System" specifically for this 20's & 30's Make Friends Party.

Even though this is a standing-style party, it feels as casual and comfortable as a "Nomikai" (drinking party). Our event hosts manage the groups 3 times throughout the night, ensuring a fair and balanced mix of nationalities and genders. Even if you are shy or don't know how to start a conversation, our staff will naturally introduce you to new people.
